A Combi Lux table lamp designed by Stanislav Indra for Lidokov, Czechoslovakia, 1970s. Orange lacquered metal shade and circular base with a polished chrome band and twin chrome uprights; grey flex with an inline rocker switch.
The cylindrical shade pivots within its chrome band to direct light, and the band assembly adjusts in height along the twin uprights, secured by a knurled thumbscrew. Curved ventilation slots pierce the domed back of the shade, and the fitting takes a standard bulb accessed through the open front. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
