This tripartite division is the design principle of the entire series—each material remains visible, none disappears behind the others. This is particularly evident in the stool because the piece is small enough to reveal the construction at a glance. The cushion is finished with a continuous seam and drapes softly over the edge of the base, softening the stark geometry beneath. The stool can be used classically as a footrest in front of the sofa, as extra seating for guests, or with a tray as a coffee table substitute.
