A long, low sideboard veneered in teak, the case divided between a bank of three graduated drawers to the left … Read more A long, low sideboard veneered in teak, the case divided between a bank of three graduated drawers to the left and three cupboard doors to the right. The top is a single wide panel with a slim moulded edge, oversailing the case front and sides.

The drawers are dovetailed at the front corners and run on fitted bearers; the uppermost is compartmented with two fixed dividers and lined in black. The two central doors open as a pair onto a single bay with a full-width shelf. The narrower right-hand door opens onto a separate undivided compartment. All doors hang on brass butt hinges.

Handles are solid sculpted timber in a lighter tone than the veneer, running almost the full width of each drawer front and repeated across the door tops as an integral lipped pull. The case sits on a separate open underframe of round tapered legs, paired front and back and joined by short angled braces. The back is a single ply panel, pin-fixed. See less
