Unique, recently restored Biedermeier bookcase/display cabinet from around 1820, whose captivating sunburst medallion design immediately draws the eye. This magnificent library cabinet is a true masterpiece by the Biedermeier master – elegant, powerful, and adorned with the finest details. The radiating mullions of the glass door, emanating like sunbeams from a central symbolic medallion, lend the cabinet an extraordinary presence and symbolism. This rare design feature makes it a highlight of any stylish interior. The surface is in authentic, very good condition. The exquisite walnut veneer displays a striking grain, further emphasized by the interplay of walnut wood contrasts. Inside, the display cabinet offers ample space on three shelves. The cabinet can be accessed using the included key. The interior has a pleasant fragrance.
