Designer unknown france 1960s h 38cm w 25cm d 17cm
a one-of-a-kind sculptural wall lamp shaped by heat, texture and imperfection. Its raw, irregular surface surrounds a mirrored globe bulb, creating a striking contrast between dark, almost charred material and warm reflected light. When illuminated, the surface comes alive — revealing amber, bronze and deep red tones that disappear back into shadow when switched off. Part lamp, part wall sculpture, the piece has an intentionally primitive, brutalist character. Rough edges, openings and uneven surfaces are left visible rather than refined away, making each angle feel different. Designed to create atmosphere rather than simply illuminate a room.
