A beautiful, cohesive set of four mid-to-late 20th-century Chinese export porcelain dessert or sandwich plates crafted in the renowned kilns of Jingdezhen, China.
Adorned with the vibrant "Pineapple & Butterfly" pattern, each plate features a central hand-painted pink peony bloom balanced by split pomegranate borders, scrolling green tendrils, sweet corn-colored accents, and delicate butterflies. The inclusion of the pineapple motif represents an auspicious Chinese blessing of incoming wealth, hospitality, and prosperity.
