A distinctive vintage Stylaire folding chair with a wonderful 1950s-era look, featuring its original green color and clever space-saving design. The chair has a metal seat with a textured rubber traction on stair surface designed to provide a secure, non-slip steps. 12 inches deep when stairs are closed.
Its elevated seat, slender metal frame, and folding construction give the chair a great vintage industrial and mid-century appearance. It folds compactly for convenient storage, making it both decorative and functional.
This chair was purchased at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena, California, in the mid-1980s and has remained in the same home prior to this listing.
