This marvelous Fenton Stippled Rays Water-droplets pattern with three-in-one ruffled edge, setting on a small platform serving bowl is created … Read more This marvelous Fenton Stippled Rays Water-droplets pattern with three-in-one ruffled edge, setting on a small platform serving bowl is created in gorgeous marigold iridescent glass and was made between 1910-1915 when this pattern was under production. Ruffled rims with pleated edges are signature traits of this period. Glass makers shaped the edges by hand while the glass was still hot and malliable. Each section of this beautiful dish has ribbing between the ruffles with small, crowded "water drops" which was Fenton's signature texture in the Early Carnival glass period. There are no stamped impressions. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Diameter side to side=9 inches, Height top edge to bottom=2-1/2 inches, Depth=1-1/2 inches. This marvelous serving bowl has been well cared for, gently displayed and is in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks, discoloration or other imperfections. It has been displayed in a closed cabinet in a pet-and smoke-free home. It is the perfect addition to your Carnival glass collection, particularly if you admire the Stippled Rays pattern! See less
