The spoons are attributed to the Tallinn Jewelry Factory in Estonia, then part of the USSR, and date to approximately the 1970s. Each spoon features a richly gold-washed bowl contrasted by an elegant twisted silver handle terminating in a square enamel finial decorated in turquoise, blue-green, white, and darker geometric accents.

The combination of high-grade 916 silver, gilding, enamel work, and distinctive modernist Baltic design makes this pair especially decorative and collectible.
