A genuine vintage advertising champagne/ice bucket from Maison Monmousseau, the historic Vouvray producer in France's Touraine region, making sparkling Vouvray since 1886. Lightweight silver-tone metal (likely aluminum) with a red and gold enamel plaque reading "VOUVRAY Monmousseau TOURAINE," twin ring handles, and ribbed banding around the body. Stamped "MADE IN FRANCE" on the bottom.
A wonderful piece of real French wine-house barware — perfect for chilling a bottle or displaying flowers, with genuine advertising history behind it.
