This piece was created in our workshop by professional skilled artisans. it is made of solid alder wood with 22k gold leaf details, red and black paint. The top is of solid slate stone.
The table is an example of Chinoiserie or Anglo-Indian/Regency fusion furniture. Rather than being a strictly European Neoclassical piece as its tulip carvings on the apron suggest, it intentionally blends European and East Asian design languages.
Leg Details: Below the gold Shou medallion, the leg is painted in a classic cinnabar red and features a carved Greek key/meander band, followed by a ring of lotus leaves. This creates a beautiful artistic dialogue between Western and Eastern motifs on a single piece of furniture.
