Each chair features an elegant scalloped silhouette with three shaped horizontal back rails. The upper crest is particularly distinctive, embellished with carved floral and foliate decoration surrounding a stylized fan or shell motif. The carved details and graceful lines give the chairs a sophisticated French Provincial character while retaining the warmth and relaxed appeal associated with classic European country interiors.

The wood is finished in a rich walnut tone, providing a dramatic contrast against the warm honey-gold rush seats and beautifully emphasizing the chairs’ carved profiles.

The woven seats are a standout feature of this set. Executed in a traditional envelope-style pattern, they display beautiful texture and warm golden coloration. The seat surfaces have been kept covered, leaving them in exceptionally well-preserved condition with very little apparent wear.

Slender shaped legs and stretcher construction complete the traditional silhouette.
