This distinctive antique chest showcases the architectural character of the Eastlake movement with a warm original finish, beautifully figured burl panels, geometric carved and molded detailing, and an unusually handsome raised upper section with twin side glove compartments.

The dresser retains its original finish and original Eastlake-style hardware, preserving the character and patina developed over its long history. The highly figured burl veneer is exceptionally well preserved, with beautiful natural variation and no significant losses to the decorative panels. The marble inset is likewise intact and in excellent condition.

Three generously proportioned drawers provide substantial storage, each featuring the original decorative hardware and working keyholes. Key included.
