Elegant vintage Noritake porcelain handled serving bowl in the desirable Tiffany pattern, dating to the 1930s.
The bowl features an ivory ground accented by a beautiful turquoise border, elaborate gilt scrollwork, and delicate multicolor floral bouquets in shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green. Sculptural open handles are richly finished in gold, giving the piece an especially refined presentation.
The underside bears the period Noritake China / Tiffany backstamp with “U.S. Design Patent Applied For,” an interesting early marking associated with the pattern.
A wonderful example of prewar Noritake decorative porcelain, this generously sized bowl works beautifully as a serving piece or displayed on its own in a china cabinet, dining room, or traditional interior.
