Approximately 4 inches square, each coaster is composed of overlapping pieces of natural shell with a beautifully luminous, mother-of-pearl quality. The decorative fronts have a warm metallic appearance, while the reverse sides reveal the creamy pearlescent natural shell.

No two are exactly alike—the variations in shell pattern and coloration give each piece an individual, organic character.

A beautiful addition to a Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, organic modern or bohemian interior. Particularly handsome displayed on a brass or wood bar cart, cocktail table or home bar.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear and natural variation throughout the shell. Minor irregularities are visible along some edges. Variations in coloration, pattern and texture are inherent to the natural shell construction. One coaster has a very small piece that has lifted on the multi colored side.
