This unknown but highly interesting design combines influences reminiscent of Ingmar Relling’s use of leather and canvas with the sculptural bentwood approach associated with Alvar Aalto. The chair features a wenge-stained plywood frame, two chocolate-brown leather cushions and a canvas backrest. Very comfortable seating and preserved in excellent original condition. A rare and characterful Mid-Century lounge chair.
