A rare Bunker wall lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, Denmark, dating from the 1960s.
The Bunker was produced as a complete lighting series comprising pendant, wall, table and floor lamps. A 1977 Fog & Mørup catalogue illustrates the complete range and specifically identifies the wall version by its rotational joint, as found on this example.
This example features the characteristic cylindrical Bunker shade in a rich chocolate-brown painted finish, with a contrasting white interior. The shade is mounted on a steel stem with a chrome-plated pivot and rotation joint, allowing the lamp to be adjusted and directed as required.
The wall version is considerably less frequently encountered than the more commonly seen Bunker table and floor lamps, making this an appealing example for collectors of Jo Hammerborg's work and Danish lighting.
The combination of the deep brown shade, white interior and chrome detailing gives the lamp a strong industrial Scandinavian character, while its compact wall-mounted form makes it particularly well suited to bedside, reading, hallway or architectural lighting.

Very good vintage condition with light signs of age and use consistent with the period.
