A striking and rare-to-find complete 3-piece antique English mantel garniture set produced by Wild & Adams at the Royal Crown Pottery in Longton, Staffordshire. Dating precisely between 1909 and 1917 based on the manufacturer's circular backstamp, this elegant Edwardian-era set features a cohesive cream, deep forest green, and gold-gilded color palette. The collection consists of two tall flanking side urns and a matching central decorative piece anchored by a tiered square plinth pedestal. The central piece is designed as a single, solid unit topped with an integrated ornamental finial. The front medallions showcase classic, finely detailed transfer-printed romantic pastoral, musical, and courting scenes reminiscent of 18th-century classical art. The reverse sides of the large urns are decorated with charming smaller floral rose bouquets, while the central vase is left beautifully blank, allowing the authentic all-over fine glaze crazing to serve as a stunning testament to its age.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, structural repairs, or hairline fractures across any of the three pieces. The gold gilding is remarkably well-preserved with only minor, expected age-related surface rubbing on the high points of the handles. Features a gorgeous, uniform all-over factory glaze crazing that is completely clean and free of dark moisture staining.
Dimensions: Large Urns (Each): High: 12" | Width: 6.5" | Depth: 4"
