I’m looking for a new home for this extraordinary wooden chandelier. It’s a striking statement piece that immediately changes the atmosphere of a room. While its style is rooted in Neo-Gothic design, it carries that distinct look often found in Renaissance and Baroque interiors, and it would sit perfectly in a Black Forest style setting, where intricate, masterfully crafted wood carvings were always the centerpiece.
The most striking details here are the hand-carved mascarons and gargoyles. According to old folklore, these creatures were meant to act as guardians of the home, keeping away anything unwelcome.
The chandelier uses B22 bulb sockets. The light is currently working, it features its original, aged wiring.
The chandelier comes with a set of lampshades, but two of the shades are torn.
Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
