The Tidsel (Thistle) lamp is one of the most celebrated designs from the Fog & Mørup ceramic lamp collection of the 1960s, and this example is in perfect condition with all three original attribution marks intact on the base.

The thistle motif is beautifully suited to lamp form — when lit, the light passes through the white glaze and the deep cobalt blue of the botanical motif creates a striking visual contrast, making the lamp as compelling illuminated as it is unlit.
