Fine Japanese Folk Pottery Sweets Dish as used in the green Tea Ceremony. Beautifully hand-crafted in quatrefoil form with good weight and solid feel, the Tray has a thick drip glaze in very dark Chocolate Brown with lighter inclusions and a charming White Folk design on the bottom in Squiggle form. The underside is artistically fashioned with a fine swirling raised pattern.
Dimensions: 9.75” wide by 9.25” deep by 1.75” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. There is acceptable slight age and use wear to two bottom corner areas being mentioned for accuracy as the presentation and function are exceptional.
