Antique Set of 4 Qianlong Famille Rose Chinese Export Porcelain Saucer Bowls Early
Made in China Early 18th Century c.1750
Each Approx. 1 1/4" High x 4 3/4" Diameter.
Exquisite authentic example from the Qianlong period.
Authentic Chinese Porcelain Saucer – Qianlong Period, Famille Rose (circa 1750), produced for the European export market through the East India Company.
These exemplify the refinement of mid-18th-century Chinese porcelain.
Its decoration, entirely hand-painted in the Famille Rose enamel palette, depicts a delicate floral bouquet of peonies and wildflowers, accompanied by slender flowering stems scattered across the rim.
The border is enhanced by an elegant gilt rocaille frieze combining scrolls, brown volutes, and cartouches decorated with iron-red trelliswork, characteristic of pieces intended for European aristocratic tables.
Excellent used antique condition. No cracks or repairs. Colors are still vibrant and bright. One has very slight chip inside top edge. As expected fading of gilt on upper edge. Normal wear from use and age.
