A beautiful antique Georgian style console table. This was made in England, we would date it to around the 1930-50’s period.
The quality is superb, it is a useful size, it is quite wide and the top is not too deep. The top has a cross banded top edge with beautifully carved swags on the three drawer fronts. The legs are grooved and there is lovely pierced fretwork in the angles between the legs and the lower edge of the top. This is nicely polished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
