1974–78 various painting technique internships with certified conservator dr. Ingenhoff, tübingen
1978–81 studied painting at the state academy of fine arts, stuttgart, under prof. K. R. H. Sonderborg
1979 founded the artists' gallery "in situ"
1980–81 part-time art teacher at the georgii gymnasium, esslingen
1981–83 studied painting at the berlin university of the arts under prof. R. Girke, graduating as a master student
1994 taught at the summer academy, berlin
1995–96 visiting professor at johannes gutenberg university, mainz
since 2007 co-organizer of "atelier aperti," orvieto, italy
numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1980.
the artist lives in berlin and torre san severo near orvieto.
