Likely … Read more Table lamp made from an antique black lacquered tin tea canister with chinoiserie decoration, English, late 19th/early 20th century. Likely converted to a lamp in the mid-20th century. Rectangular form with rounded corners, black ground with gilt and polychrome decoration depicting figural garden scenes within a Greek key border. The conversion includes a stepped brass base, brass harp, and urn-form finial, consistent with 1940s-60s lamp-making practices. No maker's mark; underside is felted. Sold without a shade.

Gilt decoration is well preserved on the panels, with rubbing and wear consistent with age. Brass base shows scuffs and patina.
