The painting remains in its original 1977 frame and presents beautifully. Importantly, the black mat is NOT velvet. While velvet mats are commonly seen on artwork of this genre and period, this piece features a black canvas mat, which gives it a cleaner, more refined appearance. The original frame, black canvas mat, and artwork are all in very good condition, with only minor age-appropriate wear. No significant condition issues noted. less
