Charming vintage original still life painting depicting a wine bottle, stemmed glass, grapes, assorted fruit, and a warm brass-toned vessel arranged against a deep, moody background.
Rendered with expressive brushwork and a beautifully muted palette of deep greens, golden yellows, burgundy, blue, and warm metallic tones. The dark background gives the composition a rich, atmospheric quality characteristic of mid-century still life painting.
The work is signed by the artist in the lower right and appears to date to approximately the 1960s–1970s. Painted on canvas board and presented in a substantial real wood frame with a cream linen-style liner and narrow gold-tone inner trim.
