A rare vintage Carlton Ware complete breakfast, tea/coffee serving set, comprising 21 coordinating pieces in a warm cream glaze with the distinctive raised grapevine decoration.

The collection has remained unusually comprehensive and includes three complementary groups: a tea and coffee service for two, a four-person egg serving set, and a selection of matching serving dishes.

Made in England, the service combines softly modelled green and yellow vine leaves, burgundy berries and trailing stems with simple geometric forms. The decoration is used differently across the individual pieces, from restrained bands of foliage around the tea service to larger trailing compositions across the serving dishes.

The collection comprises:

Tea & Coffee Service: 7 pieces
* 1 lidded tea / coffee pot — 19 cm high; 11 cm diameter at base
* 1 creamer — 10.5 cm high; 12 cm from handle to spout
* 1 sugar bowl — 7 cm high; 10 cm diameter
* 2 cups — 8 cm high; 8.5 cm diameter at rim
* 2 saucers — 13.5 cm diameter

Egg Serving Set: 7 pieces
* 4 pedestal egg cups — 6 cm high; 5 cm diameter
* 1 square four-egg stand — 15.2 × 15.2 cm
* 2 square serving / breakfast plates — 16 × 16 cm each

Serving Ware: 3 pieces
* 1 covered butter dish — 19.3 × 11.5 cm; 5.5 cm high
* 1 long rectangular serving tray — 35 × 14 cm; 2.1 cm high
* 1 small square serving butter dish — 10 × 10 cm
* Additional coordinating square serving pieces as shown in the photographs

All the pieces bear Carlton Ware, Made in England marks.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and minimal signs of previous use, minimal scratching. Fine age-related crazing is present throughout the glaze across the service, characteristic of Carlton Ware earthenware of this period. The crazing is generally subtle and remains clean rather than stained or discoloured.

The decoration retains attractive colour and the glaze is intact. The collection presents particularly well when assembled.
