This rare lamp was made in Italy in the 1970s , 0ne of the early ones by the artisan glass … Read more This rare lamp was made in Italy in the 1970s , 0ne of the early ones by the artisan glass maker Marco Gobbini who founded Arte Linea in 1970. Often mistaken for Fontana Arte as both firms produced high quality bathroom lighting in the mid century. The deep cobalt blue glass , the heavy chromed metal fixings and decorative chain define the quality of this piece. It has all the references of Space age design with the geo metric shapes ,circles of glass and silver with globe bulbs (E14) protruding from the 4 sides. It is in a very well preserved condition and works perfectly. Also in my collection is a matching mirror in the same cobalt blue glass with light bulbs, also made by Arte Linea of the same age. (sold separately). This piece has an attribution mark,
