Harry Shoulberg (American, 1903–1995) was a Philadelphia-born American Expressionist and WPA-era painter and printmaker known for bold, modernist treatments of still life, figures, and American scenes. His work is represented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Carnegie Museum of Art.
His prints were part of the larger 1930s–40s American effort to make art affordable and widely available. For that reason, Shoulberg prints are much more common and lower priced than his original oils.
