The substantial rectangular frame is completely embellished with shells of numerous sizes, shapes, colors, and textures, with larger scallop and statement shells thoughtfully positioned among intricate layers of smaller specimens.

A repeating border of pale shells surrounds the mirror plate, providing a defined transition between the reflective glass and the richly textured outer frame. The generous proportions and dimensional shellwork give the piece a strong sculptural presence while retaining its distinctly coastal character.
