This very charming desk has a drop front surface with brass hinges which acts as a writing surface and the interior hosts a removable rack with pigeonholes for sorting your correspondance. In addition to the pigeonholes, there is a slim, flat drawer [almost unnoticable]. The outside is set on a base [attached] with beautiful Queen Anne style legs and there is a drawer with good luck craving finger holes. Each side is enhanced with a relief panel. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=42 inches, Width side to side=30 inches, Depth front to back at widest=17 inches. Stool height=18 inches, Stool width side to side=16 inches, Stool depth=13 inches. This marvelous rosewood desk and stool have been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent vintage condition, free from chips, cracks or other imperfections. There are a few minor scurffs commensurate with age and use, but they do not diminish the beauty of this charming desk and stool. Please review photos for additional information.
