First introduced in 1952, the model is regarded as one of the icons of international design and a symbol of Scandinavian modernism. The distinctive organic shape of the seat, inspired by the silhouette of an ant, combined with the slender chrome-plated base, gives the chairs a timeless and exceptionally light appearance.
The offered set was manufactured in Denmark in 1974. The seats are made from moulded plywood finished with teak veneer.
Each chair has undergone professional restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating, stained in an oak colour, and finished with a durable high-quality semi-matt lacquer. The chrome-plated steel legs were carefully cleaned and polished, restoring their original shine. This piece has an attribution mark,
