The chair features a richly figured walnut-veneered backrest with a gentle organic curve, supported by an exceptionally light wooden frame with slender tapered legs. A newly upholstered seat in warm mustard-yellow fabric adds a subtle touch of colour while complementing the deep walnut tones beautifully.

The chair's restrained proportions, elegant geometry and combination of natural wood and softly curved forms are characteristic of the Scandinavian-influenced furniture of the period. Its design recalls the understated vocabulary of Danish Mid-Century seating, while the exact designer, manufacturer and country of production remain unknown.

The chair is in good vintage condition, with minor signs of age and use to the wooden frame and finish. These small imperfections are consistent with its age and contribute to the authentic character of the piece. The original upholstery had deteriorated beyond repair and has been replaced with a new mustard-yellow fabric selected to retain the chair's original Mid-Century character.
