Beautifully crafted in the mid 80's just north of Milan in Lissone (Brianza District) a major center of Italian furniture crafting and design. Custom made with superb craftsmanship by top artisans.
The chairs have elegant modern lines with dark brown leather seats. Very comfortable with a slight bow on the lower back for support. The solid wood has some wear and yellowing with a few nicks or surface scratches, understandable given their age.
The leather seats have age appropriate slight scratches and no major gashes.
The structure is sturdy.
One sees minor wear on the underside of the leather but not noticeable when the chairs are right side up.
You won't be purchasing an "as new" set of chairs, but you will be purchasing a set from the time when things were made to last without sacrificing aesthetics. A perfect balance of form and function.
