The soft cream medallions contrast elegantly against a richly saturated rust and deep maroon field, creating visual rhythm and balance of great tribal confidence. Throughout the field, stylized Tree of Life symbols and charming animal figures in sapphire blue, ivory, and terracotta celebrate themes of protection, abundance, and harmony that have been woven into Shiraz tribal textiles for generations. Shiraz rugs take their name from the ancient city of Shiraz in Fars Province, Southwestern Persia — the city of poets, roses, and wine that has been a center of Persian culture since antiquity.
