A late 19th-century hand-blown opaque art-glass vase in the Victorian Bristol style, circa 1880–1900. The softly luminous pale celadon-green body features a sepia-toned pastoral village landscape centered on a church and surrounding cottages.
The scenic vignette appears to combine transfer decoration with hand-painted and enameled embellishments. Raised white enamel daisies, dark brown foliage, copper-gold tendrils, and atmospheric brushwork frame the landscape and continue across the shoulder and elongated neck. Gilt and dark painted bands accent the softly flared rim and circular foot.
The vase was individually formed, with subtle irregularities along the flared mouth and a rough snapped pontil underneath providing evidence of its hand-blown construction. The reverse remains largely undecorated, allowing the distinctive opaque green glass to provide a quieter visual counterpoint to the detailed presentation face.
Unmarked. The precise glasshouse and country of manufacture are unknown. Based on its construction, form, materials, and decorative treatment, the vase is attributed to an English or Continental European glasshouse working in the Victorian Bristol tradition.
A distinctive decorative object for an English country, Victorian, grandmillennial, traditional, or historically layered interior.

Structurally sound, with no chips, cracks, repairs, or other damage. The hand-painted and gilt decoration displays age-appropriate rubbing and fading.
