Vintage French Provincial Nine-Drawer Sideboard/Dresser by Bassett Furniture Company
Graceful movement and modern drama meet in this authentic mid-century Bassett French Provincial nine-drawer, solid wood credenza. Expertly refinished in a smooth, velvety matte black, the case features classic serpentine contours, scalloped apron detailing, and elegant cabriole legs.
The solid wood top has been beautifully stripped and finished in a subtle, organic sandbar stain that showcases rich natural grain variation while offering a warm, tactile contrast to the dark base.
All nine drawers glide effortlessly on classic dovetail joinery and are fitted with their original, ornate cast brass pulls, retaining an authentic aged patina.
Thoughtfully lined for a bespoke feel, the outer drawer stacks are dressed in a dramatic dark botanical floral pattern, while the center tier is lined in luxurious black velvet. Perfect as a statement bedroom dresser, sophisticated dining room buffet credenza, or an elegant media console.
