Yaacov Agam is internationally recognized as a founding master of Kinetic Art, renowned for introducing time, movement, and viewer participation into the visual arts. Born in 1928, Agam studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem before moving to Zurich to train under the legendary Bauhaus color theorist Johannes Itten. He eventually settled in Paris, where he established a career defined by his invention of the Agamograph—a lenticular printing method that transforms the composition as the spectator shifts their physical vantage point.
