Beautiful antique Eastlake oak chest of drawers dating to approximately 1870–1880, professionally refinished and brought back to its natural raw oak beauty.
This gorgeous piece has been fully stripped and refinished in natural/raw oak, allowing the beautiful grain and character of the original wood to show. It has been protected with a durable matte flat finish that preserves the natural raw oak while making the piece practical for everyday use.
The chest features the classic Eastlake aesthetic, with figured walnut decorative inset panels with shaped corners with coordinating matching walnut inlay escutcheons. Beautiful hand carved accent pieces on the sides. Original ornate brass hardware, and large brass-and-black casters that give it an especially distinctive look. The castors are removable! It comes with a skeleton key that will work for all the locks!
The natural raw oak finish works beautifully with both European farmhouse, English country, French country, and primitive traditional interiors.
