Charming set of five vintage German porcelain cups by Rudolf Wächter (RW), Kirchenlamitz, presented in a wonderful mix of jewel-like colours.
The collection includes two green, two pink and one turquoise blue cup, each richly decorated with delicate gilded floral and foliate motifs. The interiors are finished in brilliant reflective gold, complemented by gilt handles, rims and footed bases.
The combination of saturated colour, intricate gold decoration and elegant footed silhouettes gives the cups a wonderfully opulent character, somewhere between Rococo Revival and old-world European glamour.
Each cup bears the RW / Made in Germany maker's mark to the underside.

2 pink cups
1 turquoise cup
5 cups total.

A beautiful mismatched collection for display, an eclectic coffee service, or a maximalist table setting. Particularly lovely grouped together, where the different colours emphasise the richness of the gold decoration.
