This listing is for a rare antique German Black Forest mantel clock.
The clock features an ornately carved wooden case with Henri II style detailing.
The clock utilizes a French- made 8 day time/strike movement by S. Marti.
The dial has porcelain inset numerals.
This clock is quite large. It measures about 26 x 15.4 x 7.65 inches.
The clock appears to be in overall good condition. Some signs of normal wear and age present. A few aged chips. Some repaired age lines.
The movement was last serviced in 2022. It ran and chimed when recently tested.
