Vintage Chinese hanging scroll featuring a delicate botanical composition of flowering branches and butterflies rendered in soft blue-green tones. The artwork is accented by traditional Chinese calligraphy and mounted within an elegant cream silk brocade surround with a subtle woven scrolling pattern.
The scroll is finished with wooden rods and retains its traditional hanging format, giving the piece wonderful decorative presence. The restrained palette of ivory, celadon, blue and muted green lends itself beautifully to traditional, Asian-inspired, Chinoiserie, Grandmillennial and collected interiors.
