The piece is believed to be … Read more This piece is a beautiful antique Victorian era 3-drawer dresser from the Eastlake movement. The piece is believed to be between 1870 and 1900 based on the Knapp joints (pin-and-cove joint) used in the construction of the drawers. These joints were the first highly successful machine-made alternative to hand-cut dovetail joints. The exact wood type is unknown, but it is likely to be American black walnut.

The dresser is 3 feet 4 inches wide (40 inches) and 2 feet 9 inches high (33 inches).
The dresser has two small wooden glove boxes built into the top surface of the dresser. The glove boxes measure approximately 10" wide, 8" deep and 3" high. This piece brings history and elegance to any room. The item has carved wooden pulls (see photos). See less
