Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage Incolay Stone large-format chest featuring the iconic "Dogs Playing Poker" scene. Unlike standard cameo designs, this pop-culture relief lid is highly sought after by collectors of barware, mid-century "man cave" decor, and canine enthusiasts.
The lid is meticulously handcrafted from heavy Incolay Stone composite, showcasing a striking, marbleized tortoiseshell swirl pattern in rich hues of charcoal, cream, and deep brown.
The 3D high-relief carving brings classic dog breeds, including a Golden Retriever, Bulldog, Poodle, Collie, and Setter vividly to life around the card table.
The lid is mounted with a solid brass piano hinge to a premium American Walnut base, complete with timeless multi-tiered ogee routered molding.
Inside, the box features its rare, original, removable mitered wood organizational tray.
