An exquisite vintage Indo-Persian hand-etched brass tray featuring vibrant hand-filled red, dark navy, and subtle green lacquer inlay (often referred to as Jaipur champlevé lacquer work). This stunning decorative tray showcases intricate floral arabesques, palm/foliage central motifs, a gracefully scalloped "pie-crust" rim, and heavy cast handles attached with authentic copper-tone rivets.
Stamped on the underside with an authentic oval "MADE IN INDIA" export mark, dating this piece to the early-to-mid 20th century. A captivating piece of Anglo-Indian metalwork craftsmanship perfect as a coffee table center accent, barware tray, or bohemian wall art hanging.
In very good vintage condition with age-appropriate character and patina. The exposed brass displays natural warmth and light oxidation. The lacquer filling shows charming vintage micro-craking (craquelure) and minor light paint loss consistent with age and hand workmanship, adding to its genuine antique appeal.
