Additional Details: One of a number of highly-popular stauettes created by Jessie McCutcheon Raleigh during the first half of the 20th century, this piece was created to spread positivity during World War I. Raleigh was sister to Chicago Tribune cartoonist John T. McCutcheon and novelist George Barr McCutcheon.
