Antique painted metal storefront sign advertising Dunphy Insurance. The face features oversized yellow and white sans serif block lettering against a blue ground, creating a bold piece of vernacular commercial signage. A darker band around the perimeter suggests the sign may have originally been framed. Its irregular, notched profile and numerous mounting holes reflect previous installation and reuse.
The reverse retains remnants of an earlier REO Speed Wagon advertisement, indicating that the sign was fabricated from salvaged automotive advertising metal.
