This is a gorgeous antique parlor or lamp table, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. It is made of solid quartersawn tiger oak and features very detailed turned legs.
The standout feature of this table is its original cast-metal claw-and-ball feet (eagle or lion paw design gripping a dark orb). The table has two tiers, with a scalloped serpentine top and a matching lower shelf. It is a very sturdy, well-made piece that would make a great plant stand or side table.
