The eyepiece, focusing shaft, lens, and mounting apparatus are brass with a nice patina that has developed over the years. The optical tube was embellished with beautiful fluted wood that create a nice visual effect. The optics are in good working condition and the original lens cap is still with the piece. The design of the tripod base allows the telescope’s height to be easily adjusted.
The dimensions taken are from the day the photos were taken but as stated, the legs are fully adjustable.
